"Crazy Rich Asians" TV Series Commences Preparation Work

It has been reported that the television series adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians has initiated its preparation process. Adele Lim, known for her work on Crazy Rich Asians and Raya and the Last Dragon, will serve as the executive producer, writer, and showrunner for the series.

Crazy Rich Asians is adapted from Kevin Kwan's globally best-selling novel Crazy Rich Asians. The story follows Rachel Chu (Constance Wu), a Chinese-American economics professor born in the United States. When she accompanies her boyfriend, Nick Young (Henry Golding), to his friend's wedding, she is astonished to discover that Nick is one of Asia's most eligible bachelors. Amidst the influx of beautiful women vying for Nick's attention, Rachel must also confront the intricate web of wealthy family feuds surrounding her boyfriend.
